The Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE) extends a heartfelt and resounding thank you to the incredible sponsors and supporters who have come together to make it possible for all four of our public high school girls’ basketball teams: Charlotte Amalie High School, Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, St. Croix Educational Complex, and St. Croix Central High School to travel to Ponce, Puerto Rico, and compete in the Puerto Rico High Schools Girls League Basketball Tournament from February 21-24, 2025.
This milestone opportunity allows our athletes to showcase their skills, compete at a higher level, and proudly represent the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is through experiences like these that our young athletes gain confidence, discipline, and exposure to greater opportunities, and we are deeply grateful to those who made this possible.
Special Thanks to Our Generous Sponsors - We extend tremendous appreciation to the following sponsors whose generosity and unwavering support have provided our students with this experience:
- Neltjeberg Bay Enterprise LLC
- Rashidi Clenance & Tim Duncan Foundation #TD21
- Caribbean Rose
- Xtreme Sports and Electronics
- The Cookie Corner Treat Center
This journey is a collective effort, and because of your support, dedication, and investment in youth sports, our young athletes are ready to compete! Thank you for believing in their potential and fueling their dreams! Beyond our sponsors, this achievement is also possible through the dedication of parents, families, coaches, athletic staff, school administrators, and VIDE leadership. We thank you for uplifting our young athletes and for devoting time to shaping these student-athletes into leaders both on and off the court.
