The Ulla F. Muller Elementary School celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with its annual MLK Walk for Freedom on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Muller’s Bamboula Dancers led the group of about 100 students, teachers, staff, parents and volunteers on a trek from the school’s campus to Crown Bay and back.
On the walk, students sang the popular Negro Spiritual “We Shall Overcome” and marched with signs and posters depicting the late Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy.
