Munis FMS Installation Guide

This will assist education users who need access to Local or Federal Munis. Don’t forget to create a ticket at Vide HelpDesk if you encounter any problem, let us know so we can assist you.

To Download Local Munis Upgrade

1. Click on the link or type default Local Munis Setup (47 MB) (It will take you to the website to download the file)
2. You can either download and save the file or you can run it from the website. (check the image below)
3. Just follow all the prompts by accepting the default values such as Next and Finish until it is done.
4. Wait a few minutes for the program to finish install it will pop up a message when it is done.

To Download Federal Munis Upgrade

1. Click on default Federal FMS Setup (1.19 MB) (It will take you to the website to download the file)
2. Right Click on the setup icon and choose ‘Run As Administrator’
3. Just follow all the prompts by accepting the default values such as Next and Finish until it is done.
   1. Note: You should now have a new green icon on your desktop that reads “Tyler Hosted Service SSO”
4. Right Click on this icon
5. Select ‘Run As Administrator’
6. Once again, just accept all the default prompts until completed
7. To test your new federal Munis program – please login by following the following procedure.
8. Go to https://saasgateway.tylertech.com/ (Please save this location in your web Browser Favorites)
9. Enter your Munis Log in information
10. Select your Client Type by choosing ‘Desktop Client’
11. Select your Environment by choosing ‘Live’
12. Enter your regular Federal Munis User ID
13. Enter your regular Federal Munis Password
