VIDHS Division of Family Assistance announces the start of Phase 2 of Pandemic Emergency Assistance Fund (PEAF) disbursements. PEAF Phase 2 funds will be issued to any eligible Virgin Island family household with a combined income maximum of $50,000 per year. Each household must contain at least one minor (up to 17 years of age) child, and copies of all supporting documents must be submitted along with the application. Supporting documents are:
• Copy of Identification for Applicant (Driver’s License, Passport, Social Security Card)
• Copy of Minor’s Birth Certificate and Social Security Card
• Copy of Proof of Income - Minimum of Two Paystubs
• Completed W-9 Form
Applicants are urged to ensure their telephone number is working for point of contact. Only PEAF applications which are signed with all supporting documents attached will be considered valid. Application approval and benefit levels will be determined via the Territorial PEAF Phase 2 Review Committee on a weekly basis. Benefits will be disbursed via paper checks issued in-person to the applicant after verification of identification and signature.
