The Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE) salutes Christopher Mercedes-Griffin (10th grade) and Wilfelix Zapata-Mota (9th grade) for taking the initiative to serve as Crossing Guards for their fellow students along Alton Adams Sr. Drive, in the absence of an official crossing guard. The VIDE commends the Charlotte Amalie High School students' act of selfless service to their community, which demonstrates care and leadership. We are all so proud of you!
