Students and community members welcomed Santa for the Annual Breakfast with Santa event held December 8 at the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Cafeteria.
Members of Rotary Club East and Kean students enrolled in the Rotaract club served up a delicious breakfast, while the school band treated the audience to a series of Christmas classics.
Rotary Club East held a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Kean Rotaract club, which helps to instill a sense volunteerism in participants as they work to better their community through a variety of service initiatives.
Santa made his annual appearance to distribute gifts to attendees, including a $15,000 check to Kean’s Music Department. Rotary St. Thomas II made the monetary donation to aid in replacing band equipment and supplies that were damaged during Hurricanes Irma and Maria last year.
