The Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Music Department presented its "Scenes of Spring" concert on May 25 at the Kean Cafe.
Parents, peers and members of the public filled the room to hear rousing performances from the concert choir, concert band, jazz band, steel pan ensembles and various singing groups. And, the award-winning music students did not disappoint. They presented a variety of tunes featuring gospel, classical, jazz and calypso music, among others. From smooth, soulful vocal performances to robust and rousing instrumental tunes, concert-goers could not get enough of the talented Rays.
After more than two hours, the unforgettable evening closed out in grand fashion with a choreographed dance party featuring popular tunes from the 2017 St. Thomas carnival.
Indeed, it was an unforgettable scene to behold!
