Schools Closed November 24-26 for Professional Development, Thanksgiving Holiday
Virgin Islands Department of Education schools will be closed November 24, to accommodate professional development for school-based staff, and November 25 and 26, in observance of the annual Thanksgiving holiday.
November 24
- Non-instructional day for students; professional development sessions held for school-based staff
- Department offices remain open
November 25 & 26
- All schools and Department offices will be closed in observance of the annual Thanksgiving holiday
Schools and offices will resume normal operations on November 29.
The Department of Education extends best wishes for a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving season to students and staff.
