The Lockhart Elementary School welcomed students and their parents back for a great and productive 2018-19 school year on Thursday, September 27, 2018.
Students were greeted with a pep rally to kick-off the long-awaited school year. St. Thomas - St. John Insular Superintendent Dionne Wells-Hedrington, and Acting Principal Maria Melendez-Tirado brought forth remarks. Students and their parents had the opportunity to meet with school staff, administrators and teachers.
Lockhart Elementary was one of five schools that reopened on September 27. Charlotte Amalie High School, Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, Yvonne E. Milliner-Bowsky Elementary School and the Joseph Gomez Elementary School also had successful openings.
