The Virgin Islands Department of Education is rewarding its employees for the successful completion of another school year.
Under the leadership of the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, the District and State Offices on St. Croix teamed up to show their appreciation for employees' hard work with a fun day and barbeque at the Cramer's Park beach on Friday, June 23. It was a time to kick back and relax, enjoy good food and fellowship, and connect or reconnect with colleagues under the warmth of the Caribbean sun. The festive event also served as a time to foster camaraderie among employees in an effort to ensure a positive working environment.
DJ IQ (from VIDE’s IT Division) provided music for employees to dance the afternoon away after enjoying dishes like BBQ ribs and chicken with all the local trimmings, and delicious bowls of kalaloo.
