Ivanna Eudora Kean High School boys won their first annual Junior Varsity invitational tournament over Bertha C. Boschulte with a 50-32 final score on Sunday, April 2, 2017. CAHS JV Hawks defeated the All Saints Vikings to secure third place.
Kean’s N’khoi Archibald was the tournament’s boys MVP. Jahseem Dawson of All Saints was the top scorer with 101 points and Calvary Christian Academy took home the sportsmanship award.
All Saints Lady Vikings girls defeated Cancryn's Lady Phoenix 14-13 with three successful free throws and 1.5 seconds left to become champions. Arthur Richards took home the sportsmanship award; the top scorer was Secoya Prince of Cancryn.
