Here is the month-long line up of festivities: Monday, March 14
Gingham Day/ We Deh Yah Cultural Dancers 1 p.m. (Media Invited)
Students, faculty and staff will be allowed to wear any gingham attire of their choice and the We Deh Yah cultural dancers will be on the Strawberry Patch to perform quadrille at 1 p.m.
March 15-18
Old Time Traditional Games (During lunch recess, 11:00 a.m.to 12:30p.m.)

Students will experience what it is like to play games from “back in the days” like hopscotch and marbles.
Monday, March 21
Madras Day & 1st Annual Ricardo’s Sweets & Treats/Festival on the Green, 12:30 p.m.
(Formerly the ‘Taste of Ricardo’) (Media Invited)
Ricardo Richards’ signature event for VI History Month will feature tastings of local island sweets and treats, but this time it will all be outdoors. Parents and family members are invited to come out and enjoy a day on the Green and sample island favorites.
Tuesday, March 29
Culture, History & Tradition Fair, 12:30 p.m. (Media Invited)
Ricardo Richards Elementary School will culminate in the Culture, History & Tradition Fair, featuring the Lew Muckle Elementary, Moko Jumbies, Maypole Dancers, Quadrille Dancers, Historians, Arts and Crafts demonstrations and special presentations by Chef Digby and Bradley Christian. Fraco will be on sale for $1.
Tuesday, March 30
School-wide field trips
The entire Ricardo Richards Elementary School student body, faculty and staff will embark on field trip activities across the island aimed at highlighting the history and culture of St. Croix.
