Claude O. Markoe resumes in Person; Alfredo continues virtual
ST. CROIX, USVI – The Claude O. Markoe Elementary School will resume in-person learning on August 23, 2022, following a water pressure issue that caused the school to be without water on Monday.
The Alfredo Andrews Elementary School will continue to hold classes virtually for all grades on August 23, 2022, as repairs continue to copper piping that has been identified as the source of the water service interruption impacting the campus. The Department of Education maintenance crew is working on repairs.
Virtual learning information will be shared via parent email groups and Class Dojo.
The Department of Education will provide an update as to when the Alfredo Andrews Elementary School would resume in-person learning and thanks students, parents, and school staff for their patience as the issue is resolved.
