The Claude O. Markoe Elementary PBIS Team held a door decoration contest for Valentines Day. Organized by Crystal Peters, sixth grade teacher/PBIS member, teachers and students were to decorate their class door with any idea that will go along with the theme, Spread Love Through PBIS.
“It’s to promote continued collaboration amongst the teachers and the students,” said Peters.
The Claude O. Markoe’s PBIS Team would like to thank Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for donating the paper used to decorate the door and local sponsors such as the Frederiksted Inn, Cibone Restaurant, DPMNM, and In The Mix Bakery for its contribution.
Both teachers and students will receive a gift for winning the contest.
Teachers Prizes: 1st Prize A 2 night stay at the Frederiksted Inn; 2nd Prize A $50 gift certificate from Cibone Restaurant and 3rd Prize A DPMNM and In The Mix gift certificate.
Students Prizes: 1st Prize Pizza Party sponsored by STX District PBIS; 2nd Prize A mini party with chips and drinks and 3rd Prize Free color clothes for the whole class.
