PBIS Roll Out

We are excited to celebrate PBIS week, Positive behavior which is a big part of our school. For PBIS week, the PBIS team collaborated with school staff and created some awesome activities for the week.

On Monday, we started with a soft-roll out of school-wide expectations and introduction to our new reward system.

Tuesday, we continued with re-teaching our classroom expecations and coloring in our PBIS actiivity books.

Wednesday, it was Tie-Dye day!!!! We had a blast.

Friday, the day we all waited for, wear your tie-dye shirts and SPORTS DAY!!

It was a great week when it all came together. The students displayed positive behavior and we reward them for it.

PBIS Reward Event

April 2017's reward for the students was an Easter Egg Hunt. Students with at least 30 "Dolphin Clicks" were eligible to register for the event. Some studnets showed interest, while others weighed their options and chose to save their points for next month's event. This is one of the benefits of using the PBIS Rewards program, providing the students with opportunities to make conscious choices about the use and saving of their Dolphin Clicks.  On Tuesday, April 11th the PBIS team hid a total of 990 Easter eggs on the field for three sets of students (grade levels K-1, 2nd - 3rd, and 4th - 5th). The students submitted their tickets, lined up, and got ready to charge onto the field for their candy and prize filled eggs. This event was also special since it was the debut of Marley, our PBIS Mascot.
