ST. CROIX, USVI – Principal Rodney E. Moorehead of the John H. Woodson Jr. High School announced today that school hours for SY 2016-17 will be 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The change brings John H. Woodson on the same time schedule as St. Croix’s two other junior high schools—Elena L. Christian Jr. High and Arthur A. Richards Jr. High.
“Standardizing our hours of operation will allow us to collaborate more effectively with our master schedules,” Principal Moorehead said.
The change was approved by Insular Superintendent Colleen Mae Williams on July 27.
